It’s hard to believe it is only one week away!
Will you be in town for the holiday? If so, yay for you! Arlington is going to be busy with a number of great events all weekend long celebrating Independence Day.
Whether you are looking for fireworks shows in Arlington or other ways to celebrate the 4th of July, check out these fun options.
Levitt Pavilion Concerts
Levitt Pavilion is in the middle of the awesome free Summer Concert Series right now. They will have musicians rocking the stage during July 4th weekend. Performers will include:

Light Up Arlington
Downtown Arlington will be the place to be on Monday, July 3 thanks to Light Up Arlington. From 6 p.m. – 10:30 p.m., the annual event includes live music, food trucks, and plenty of children’s activities. A fireworks show will begin at 9:45 p.m. Fireworks will be shot from the municipal office tower located at 101 Mesquite St. Some activities may cost a small fee. Beat Play Boston Red Sox at Globe Life Park
What’s more American than the great game of baseball? Cheer on the Rangers as they face the Boston Red Sox on July 3-5 at Globe Life Park. Fireworks will follow the July 3rd and 4th games. 52nd Annual 4th of July Parade
Arlington’s 52nd annual 4th of July parade will occur in downtown Arlington at 9 a.m on Tuesday, July 4. This year’s parade theme is 4th of July Texas Style. The event is coordinated by the extremely passionate and hardworking Arlington 4th of July Association.
As you may know, Arlington’s 4th of July parade is consistently recognized as one of the best in the country. It is also considered the oldest event of Arlington. To ensure you have a great spot to enjoy the festive parade, plan on being downtown early. July 4th Fest at Six Flags Over Texas
Love Six Flags Over Texas? The amusement park will host their annual July 4th Fest from July 2-4. If you bring a Coca-Cola product or are a season pass holder, you can gain early entrance to the park from 9 a.m. – 10 a.m.. Also, Six Flags Over Texas will host the Just Dance competition daily from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. A display of high-energy patriotism will happen from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at the park’s foam dance party.
