Food Truck Fridays at River Legacy Parks: Who doesn’t love grub from food trucks? If you do, food trucks will be at River Legacy Parks on Friday from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. as a part of Arlington Parks & Recreation department’s Food Truck Fridays.
Texas Rangers vs Houston Astros at Globe Life Park: Make a trip to Globe Life Park in Arlington this weekend. The Rangers will face the Houston Astros on Friday at 7:05 p.m., Saturday at 6:15 p.m. and Sunday at 2:05 p.m. Fireworks will follow Friday night’s game. Comedian Felipe Esparza at Arlington Improv: Need a good laugh after a long week? On Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at the Arlington Improv in the Arlington Highlands, comedian and 2010 Last Comic Standing winner Felipe Esparza will perform five shows. Tickets are $22-$32.
Legally Blonde: The Musical at Theatre Arlington: Theatre Arlington will present its latest play, Legally Blonde: The Musical. Showtimes are Friday at 8 p.m., Saturday at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m.; Sunday at 2 p.m. Tickets are $25 for adults; $23 for seniors (62+) and students.
National Trails Day Hikes at River Legacy Living Science Center: In celebration of National Trails Day, River Legacy Living Science Center will be offering FREE hikes departing from the Science Center at 10 am and 11 am. Participants will also receive a FREE mini first aid kit provided by Baylor Orthopedic Spine Hospital at Arlington. Hikes are free, but space is limited. Please RSVP to 817-860-6752.
Texas Rangers To Host Baseball Clinic For Youth: On Sunday from 10 a.m. to noon at the Texas Rangers Youth Ballpark, a baseball clinic will be facilitated by youth ballpark coaches. The event will also feature guest appearances from Rangers alumni, Rangers Captain, and the Six Shooters. This event is designed to encourage playing baseball for enjoyment outside the normal routine of games and practices. Youth who attend Sunday’s clinic will receive a voucher for two tickets for a future Rangers game and a commemorative plastic ball/bat set.
