Free Live Music at Levitt Pavilion: For the music lovers, stop by Levitt Pavilion in downtown Arlington this weekend for the free live music as a part of the Summer Concert Series! Performers will include:
Gold Cup Soccer Semifinal: Costa Rica vs. USA: Know an international soccer fan? AT&T Stadium will host the Gold Cup Semifinal between Costa Rica and USA on Saturday at 8:30 p.m. If you plan to go, don’t forget our guide to AT&T Stadium’s bag policy and shuttle service options. Ticket prices vary.
Comedian Guy Torre at Arlington Improv: Need a good laugh after a long week? On Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at the Arlington Improv in the Arlington Highlands, veteran comedian Guy Torre will perform five shows. Tickets are $15-$27.
Free Dive-In Movie at Central YMCA: Are your kids looking for a fun way to cool off this weekend? The Arlington-Mansfield Area YMCA Central Branch will host a free Dive-In Movie on Friday featuring Finding Dory. Doors will open at 8 p.m. and the movie will begin at 8:45 p.m. Free for members and non-members
Sunset Tour on Lake Arlington: We all know that Lake Arlington is a gem to our fine city. If you’d like to be in the water, Adventures Unlimited Paddling Company will host a sunset tour on Lake Arlington on Friday evening. Check-in is at 7 p.m, with launch at 7:30 p.m. You will paddle across the lake to their favorite beach on the island. There you will take a break and enjoy snacks while watching the sun set. Then you will turn on boat lights and paddle around the island to check out the cove, then paddle home in the evening dusk. Price is $35 per person for boat, vest, lights, and snacks. If you have your own boat and lights, $5 launch fee. If you have a boat, but need to rent lights they are $5. Both single and tandem boats are available (same price per person). No experience necessary. This is a guided trip with an ACA certified Instructor Guide.
