Maybe you’ve checked out this site’s restaurant reviews hoping to try something new in town. And with the warm weather upon us (ok, warm is a bit of an understatement), Arlington restaurants with great food, drinks and outdoor dining options are at a premium.
What sounds better than tasty cocktails and ice cold beers being enjoyed under the awnings of our city’s patios?
Got your attention? Good. Because here’s a list of great Arlington restaurant patios to take in some sun (or moon), grab a bite, and an adult beverage.
El Gabacho Tex-Mex Grill
Located in The Shoppes at Brownstone Village, the patio at El Gabacho Tex-Mex Grill is a solid choice for a great margarita (it’s a FW Weekly award winner). If you’re the type that loves to sip while being serenaded with music, plenty of bands set up shop on the weekends here. Or hit up their happy hour Monday – Friday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. They have great deals on margaritas and beers which makes it an ideal wind-down location.
Twisted Root & Hooligan’s Pub
Burger and beer. What can be better? Enjoy yourself on the red brick patio that connect these two Abram Street joints. On a hot day, you may opt for a delicious burger and root beer float (caffinated) from Twisted Root. Or grab a nice cold one from Hooligan’s and hang with your peeps. And relax comfortably with your bottom on Hooligan’s brand new patio furniture.
We know how popular the Arlington Highlands can be during evenings and weekends. But with such a fabulously spacious patio at Houlihan’s, going toe-to-toe with the crowd is well worth it if outdoor drinking and dining is your thing. Skip the regular seating and take full advantage of the bar/patio only specials like half off cocktails & draft beer along with discounted appetizers. The patio specials are available Mon-Thur, 11 a.m. -1 a.m.; Fri, 4 p.m. – 7 p.m.; and Sun, 11 a.m. – 10 p.m.
